Item: Sony PSP (PSP-1000 firmware 1.50 running 5.50 GEN-B Full)
Description: Another one of those purchases you're so glad you made, but didn't realize it until you put it to use. I've wanted a PSP ever since it was announced; the thought of being able to play a full, unedited, 800+ car garage version of Gran Turismo wet my appetite for this gadget from the get-go. Not only that, Tekken 5, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, even LocoRoco made this machine worth it. And what do I do with it now? Well, honestly, not much. I don't have much of a commute anymore on the train to work to merit taking it out for 7 minutes, nor was Gran Turismo PSP the break-through game everyone thought it would be. But do I regret this purchase? Of course not. It is and will always be that gadget I've always wanted, and will always have. Until that gate in the back breaks.
