Item: Adam, English Teacher
Description: This is one great kid. He has a love for classic hip-hop, a passion for music, a flare for house dancing, and just a knack for being himself. We trained together at our current job and is, simply put, a friend whom I have found myself confiding in greatly. My positive experience back in Japan can be attributed to this guy right here. Our talks and meet-ups have resulted in some of the most prolific and thought provoking conversations, never leaving off without something being taught and something being acquired. Keep an eye on him too; he's going places, and I don't mean that in a cliche' metaphorical sense. You read it here first.
Q: Name, Hometown, Current City
A: Adam, Brampton, Ontario Canada, Ibaraki Osaka
Q: What can you not live without?
A: Recently, music in general. I go everywhere with my iPod.
Q: What is one thing you always carry around with you?
A: My iPod. (laughs) Whether it's for a quick coffee run or to work or anytime I'm traveling, even if it's just for 1 min. while walking. I always have music or my iPod. (iPod classic 6th gen. 160gb)
Q: What is your perspective on the materialistic youth of today?
A: I think as long as it's for something, then there's no problem. Materialism is not the problem, because we live in a capitalistic society. I guess it's "no representation materialism" that's bad.
Q: If you could rid the world of one physical item, what would you get rid of?
A: Cancerous bacteria.
Q: What is your New Year's resolution for 2010?
A: Save money is one, improve my status, look forward and try to change things before it's too late. No more "I wish I could have" because, I did.
