Item: Supreme Book Vol. 5 Autumn/Winter 2009
Description: Supreme likes to showcase their clothing just like any other company, but unlike others their outlandish displays include naked women, obscene gestures, and controversial backgrounds and locales with controversial people. Donning the cover of this issue is non-other than Bobby Digital himself, RZA. His insightful dialogue and philosophical explanations of his methodology is certainly a good read. Among the other highlights of this issue include the introduction of the Damien Hirst collaboration, which stirred quite the appropriate amount of hype. His LCD paintings transferred onto a white t-shirt with a box logo, as well as filling the underside of multiple skateboards helped make this one of the most talked about releases of 2009. Needless to say the next issue, as of now unannounced, is highly anticipated.
