Item: Words with Friends (iPhone)
Description: When I'm on the train, this is what kills time for me. Basically just a rendition of Scrabble but having the option of playing a word whenever you want (it's turn-based, so you can feel free to respond to someone's play whenever you want, whether it be in a few hours or a few days) really sets this app apart. I love the urge to check if a word has been played, only to find out I have a Q without a U and therefore must think about my play a little bit further before laying down the pieces. Addiction never came so verbose.
