Item: Co-Op brand Cheese Arare snack
Description: These things are so addictive. They remind me of Fritos, except they're so lite. Each piece is crunchier than the last, the taste is subtle to each piece and loud with two pieces together. I actually discovered these at a picnic party I went to a few years back. To be honest I thought they were "shrimp crackers" which are similarly shaped snacks made from shrimp pieces and vegetable oil. The color of these are very muted in the picture, but imagine them a nuclear orange color (but not the kind that comes off on your fingers like Cheetos). Definitely worth the 105 yen each damn time I go to the supermarket.
