Item: Apple iPod 20GB (4th Generation "Click Wheel")
Description: My first iPod came as a graduation present before I headed off to college. It was the 10GB 2nd generation - the first to implement the non-rotating "touch" wheel with buttons surrounding it. Note: I had purchased that iPod off of Ebay, and when it reached me I had noticed there were already songs loaded onto it, but the seller had claimed it to be brand new. Odd. Anyways, after a good year and change of usage I decided to upgrade to a higher HDD size iPod. At the time, the "Pyramid scheme" craze was going around ("participate in this ad, sign up, cancel, and do it 5 more times, then send this info to someone else to claim a prize!") so I was no stronger than anyone else so I decided to do it. I had completed all the requirements, forwarded the info to someone else, filled out the application and hoped for the best. Little did I know, 4 months later, a brand new, un-opened, as promised, 20GB iPod 4th Generation appeared at my dorm's package room. I couldn't actually believe it; one of these "get something for free" schemes worked. It also worked for a mate of mine. And while I agree this sounds just like everyone else's testimonial, here's mine:
It worked. I got this for free. I swear to a higher power, with their name in vain; a pyramid scheme's prize was actually received.
Ok, maybe it didn't sound any different, but you can choose to believe me or not. Doesn't matter I suppose.
