Item: Nike Air Trainer 2 SB Supreme (White/White-Fire Red)
Description: Supreme and Nike love collaborating together to create the new hyped shoe.  It's like a double edged sword; the publicity of a giant company such as Nike seeks "help" (used loosely) from a once independent and underground skateboarding company to promote the art of skateboarding for it's skateboarding line, while Supreme benefits from the solid foundation not (yet) found within the boundaries of Supreme's customers but which are easily given to anyone who has ever bought a pair of Nikes.  This silhouette, the Air Trainer 2, was the brainchild of one Bo Jackson back in the 90's for his ability to mix sport genres into his resume (Football and Baseball) which strengthened the definition of cross-training, the shoe's main purpose.  The subtle use of 3M on the heel tab, the net-textured rear quarter panel, and the marble foot straps really make the shoe stand out.  Negative marks have been given by the die-hard Nike fans about the sole's paint chipping off but luckily since I have yet to wear these, they are in tact.  The white pair pops, but stay tuned for the blacks.
